Nicolas’ dream was far from owning and running his own business; rather, he had his sights set on becoming a basketball star. An unfortunate accident took away that dream, but it made him think about his health. It also made him think about what he and his now co-founders can do to help others better their health.
There was an easy-to-target niche market of people who already ate healthy foods but that didn’t fit their vision. The co-founders wanted to make a difference. They followed their conviction that the current food system needs to be fundamentally changed.
